STOCK TIPS: BUY LOW/SELL HIGH

Decent size, decent speed, decent runner. That was the book on Curtis Martin as he came out of the University of Pittsburgh. All he did from the day he was drafted till the day he no longer played was keep his head down, not make headlines, and just run the football. Eleven years later, he's fourth all time on the running back. He never was outspoken or electric, instead he was just the dependable, solid RB for eleven seasons that any team would die for. As his career looks like it has come to an end this week, it's important that we took a moment to talk about the greatest RB who was never talked about.

BUY LOW

Chris Henry- In his first game back from suspension, Henry picked up right where he left off with 5 catches for 81 yards and a TD. In his last three games he has 263 yards and 3 TDs. When he's been in the lineup this season, he's been a more productive WR than Chad Johnson. He doesn't get the credit he deserves because of his off the field issues, but he's has a lot of talent, and he is putting up good numbers when he starts.

Joseph Addai- Facing their biggest game of the year last Sunday, the Colts gave Joseph Addai almost all of the carries. This was clear evidence that they feel Addai is their best back, and he will get more and more carries as the season goes on as they prepare him to carry the load for the playoffs. He's only averaged under 4 yards a carry once this season, and he has shown he's a threat to bust a huge run on ever carry.

Maurice Jones-Drew- While Jones-Drew is more of a hit or miss back than Joseph Addai, he will become equally as valuable if Fred Taylor's hamstring injury lingers. It's the same injury that has troubled him his whole career, and it wouldn't be a surprise if he missed a game or two down the stretch. The Jaguars have a decent schedule the rest of the way which make Jones-Drew a valuable commodity.

SELL HIGH

Jamal Lewis- While Lewis topped 100 for the first time all year, it still took him over 30 carries to do so. He won't have many 30 carry games again this season with capable backups behind him, so this may be the right time to get what you can for him. Expect his production to be inconsistent from week to week.

Wali Lundy- The rookie RB has been outstanding in his first two starts since being named the starter again, but four of his next eight games are against very good defenses. I'd only trade Lundy, if you could get a steady, predictable RB, but either way you can't expect production like this from week to week with that offensive line.

Phillip Rivers- One of the most useless stats in fantasy football is QB rating. Since it doesn't count at all in league's it's only a number for show. How you can use this number though is in trades. Try to convince someone in you league that they should pick up Rivers because according to QB rating he's the fourth best QB in the league. In return, look for a QB that gets more TDs.
