NEWS & NOTES

It look increasingly worse all week, and finally the Redskins decided to call WR Santana Moss out for Sunday's game. Brandon Lloyd will be the teams #1 wideout and Chris Cooley should also receive more looks.

Reports out of Denver are that both Bells will play at RB on Sunday, but it will be Mike Bell who gets the majority of the carries while Tatum nurses his turf toe.

Greg Jennings is questionable for the Packers game on Sunday, and he was never able to go at full speed in practice for them. He appears like he won't play, but make sure to check around for updates.

There is no question that Laurence Maroney will play on Sunday night, and him being "questionable" was just the Patriots way of being coy for their matchup against the Colts.

Joe Horn and Reggie Bush have been questionable all week, but it looks like they will both play on Sunday. Neither are great matchups against the Bucs defense.

It seems like Lamont Jordan has healed from his back injury, and will start Monday night. That being said he's not very good, and for the chance that he doesn't play and you get screwed over cause it's a Monday game, look elsewhere.

The back of Plaxico Burress has become an issue this week, and he is questionable for this Sunday's game. The Giants are resting several players and may do the same with Plax as they take on a Houston team they should beat regardless. Tim Carter would start if Burress can't go.

I think Henry is a much better option in a keeper league, and I would definitely reccomend trading doug gabriel for him. Henry is physically gifted, but his only risk is the off field issues. Eventually I see him going to another team and being more than a 3rd WR. The Pattiots have shown that all their WRs are dispensible, so once Gabriel is dumped by NE his value will be done.

As for the Benson vs Jacobs discussion. I would recommend Jacobs over Benson for the following reasons. With Thomas Jones playing so well, it is very unclear when Benson will start. It will most likely be next year, but it may not be with Chicago. In the case of Jacobs, even after Tiki leaves the Giants will target a Michael Turner type RB in the draft to pair with him. However, Jacobs will still get the TDs, so his value will still be high.

Chris Perry is a nice player, but he's more of a Mewelde Moore than a Chester Taylor. I don't see him ever become more than a thrid down RB.

I'm glad you're reading the article, try to spread the word because I'm trying to get my name out there and land a job in this field. If you have any other questions, you can post them here or e-mail me at asuhouse@aol.com
