NEWS & NOTES

Laveranues Coles is dealing with a hand injury in addition to his injured calf. He's currently listed as questionable for Sunday against Miami, but should still play. He's a risky start but should be adequate.

Larry Johnson completed another successful practice on Friday, and he will start this week coming off his neck injury.

Brian Westbrook did his usual annoying habit of not practicing on Friday. With Donte' Stallworth already out, the Eagles can't afford to not have Westbrook. Expect him to play, but keep a close watch on him.

Struggling second year WR Mark Clayton was added to the injury report as questionable with a neck injury. The Ravens have trouble getting him the ball, so you probably should not play him this week. Their TE Todd Heap was upgraded to probable, ending a long streak of game-time decisions.

Jeremy Shockey practiced all week for the Giants, and he is probable for their game against the Falcons. He has been quiet all season, and probably will stay that way since he is banged up and going against a tough defense.

After missing two practices for undetermined reasons, Roy Williams was back on Friday. He seems to be recovered from his neck injury, but it'd still be smart to make sure he's playing this Sunday.

Bobby Engram will not play this week for the Seahawks due to injury. Their TE, Jeremy Stevens will be back, and Deion Branch will start in Branch's place. Both players should see increased looks this week.

After coming off an impressive game, it appears that LenDale White will miss Sunday's game after not practicing because of the flu. Travis Henry should get all the carries, and this makes him a much safer play.

Drew Bennett looks like he will be back this week after suffering his ankle injury. The Titans passing game is very erratic now, so don't expect much from Bennett.
