COUNTDOWN TO GAMETIME

Despite his mysterious injury during practice this week, Terry Glenn will be in the lineup against Washington. He's worth a look if you need a WR, but his injury and the emergence of Tony Romo has hurt hum.

Despite injuring his thumb on practice, Charlie Frye will remain as QB this Sunday for the Browns. Injured or not, Frye should not be starting for you today.

It looks extremely doubtful that Plaxico Burress will be out there today. Tim Carter will fill in for him at WR. With all these injuries to the Giants and a game against the Bears looming, look for a closer game against the Texans than expected.

Mike Bell will start for the Broncos, while Tatum will get few if any carries for the Broncos. Mike Bell looked great last week, but the Steelers should do a much better job against him. If you're desperate, he'd be an adequate RB 2.

Joe Horn has been listed as inactive for today's game against the Bucs. Terrance Copper will start in his place, and Marques Colston should expect double teams. Look for the Bucs to get the win today.

Despite no reports of injury all week, David Givens is inactive for today's game. He wasn't a good matchup anyway, and Brandon Jones will start in his place.

Like expected Byron Leftwich is inactive for today's game and David Garrard will start. If Garrard plays well, it'll be very interesting to see who starts next week.

Despite being clearly not 100%, Greg Jennings will play on Sunday. He's a risky play because he's hurt, but he should perform decently against a weak Bills team.

Santana Moss is listed as doubtful and it appears like a real stretch that he will play. Moss has been very disappointing and fantasy owners should be happy he doesn't play because they need him healthy.

I think this is a pretty decent trade for both you. Out of all the players in the deal I feel that Julius Jones is the best. This is his best season so for and if you take his numbers through 16 games it's 1368 yards and 6 TDs. I expect him to be somewhere between 1200-1500 yards for the next five years. He is also pretty durable so injury isn't much of a question.

I'm not a huge Gabriel fan so I don't see you losing him ever coming back to bite you. It's not even 100% that he will start for the Pats again next year.

Bush is the most intriguing of the players. Part of me says that Bush will never amount to more than what he is, while I also feel that he could turn into a Tomlinson like RB. The key to Bush is if he can accept not breaking a huge gain on every carry, if he can settle for 3-4 yard runs, he'll be a star in this league. He should be a top 15 RB from next year on, and will probably get similar TDs to Jones but less yards. Also injuries are more a concern for Bush.

I'm very high on Reggie Brown. In his first full season as a starter he's on pace for 1000 yards and 10 TDs. The Eagles love to throw and he should put up good stats year in and year out. The only fear is if Andy Reid is ever let go, and they replace him with some one who makes a stronger effort to run the ball.

All that being said, I would say if you need a WR more than a RB, make the deal. Bush could turn out to be a stud or a dud, but either way Reggie Brown should produce well. If Jones is your top runner for the future, I'd hold off on this deal, and try to get a RB that you know what you'll get for.
