COUNTDOWN TO GAMETIME

There's about an hour till kickoff, and here are the headlines around the NFL.

Donte' Stallworth did not make the trip to Tampa Bay and obviously will not play on Sunday.

Byron Leftwich is active for this Sunday's game against Houston, and it was just announced by the team he will start on Sunday. Get him in your lineup immediately, he should have a good day. Beware though because he may not be able to play the whole game if he's feeling it.

ESPN's Chris Mortenson reports that it may not be long before Jay Cutler is starting in Denver. He could play if Jake Plummer struggles today, and Coach Shanahan said that if Plummer can't beat Indianapolis and Pittsburgh the following two weeks, a change could be made.

Laveranues Coles has avoided the inactive list again, and he will start against Detroit today. Get him in your lineup.

The word is: He plays. If you read this every week, you know I'm talking about Brian Westbrook. He should have an average day against the Tampa defense.

Samkon Gado, not Wali Lundy, is the starter for the Texans today at RB. If you're desperate for a RB, go grab him. This makes it official that you can drop Ron Dayne.
